Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Baroness Gillian Merron, Under-Secretary of State for Patient Safety, Women’s Health & Mental Health. It was an enormous relief to hear that our archaic 40 year Mental Health Act will be tackled as a priority for the Labour government.
It’s been a long time coming….
This is great news and FINALLY a feather in the cap for mental health services and delivery. An acknowledgment that community support and rehabilitation is the way forward with the right level of resources. We at Nexus Digital Technology Limited are delighted by the impending plans and look forward to delivering amongst our peers.
